Taking a look back through the Nintendo eShop on the Switch, there’s great games on there, many of which I’ve played and some that are new to me. Here’s a couple games I’ve gotten back into lately.

I’ve enjoyed revisiting Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. It doesn’t add much, if anything, to the original game but it’s surprising how little of it feels dated. The performance on the Switch is very good.

Another one I’ve had a blast with lately is Shakedown: Hawaii. I’m in love with art and animation style. It’s amazing how much life pops out of each pixel. There’s a million things to do so it scratches that completionism itch.

I was hard on the lack of games in the eShop at the launch of the Switch but it’s ridiculous to think that now. There’s a ton of great games in there, of all genres, for gamers of all sorts.
